week 6

Week 6

Title of Activity
-research about sensor.

Objective
- To find a similar project and do some research for example sensor.

Content/Procedure
-Information about the previous project.

Result/Analysis
the result analysis get from week 6.
The system uses a infrared sensor that points directly towards the driver’s face and monitors the driver’s eyes in order to detect fatigue. In such a case when fatigue is detected, a warning signal is issued to alert the driver.

It is the same principle in ALL Infra-Red proximity sensors. The basic idea is to send infra red light through IR-LEDs, which is then reflected by any object in front of the sensor. Then all you have to do is to pick-up the reflected IR light. For detecting the reflected IR light, we are going to use a very original technique: we are going to use another IR-LED, to detect the IR light that was emitted from another led of the exact same type! This is an electrical property of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) which is the fact that a led Produce a voltage difference across its leads when it is subjected to light. As if it was a photo-cell, but with much lower output current. In other words, the voltage generated by the leds can't be - in any way - used to generate electrical power from light, It can barely be detected. that's why as you will notice in the schematic, we are going to use a Op-Amp (operational Amplifier) to accurately detect very small voltage changes.

Conclusions

From the conclusions in week6
Students knows about the sensor describes how to find the eyes, and also how to determine if the eyes are open or closed. Which was a primary objective of the project. The system deals with using information obtained from the sensor, which narrows the area of where the eyes may exist. Once the face area is found, Taking into account the knowledge that eye regions in the face present great intensity changes Once the eyes are located, sensor will detect in the eye area determine whether the eyes are open or closed.

week 5

Week 5
Title of Activity
- Aim and objective of the project.
-Problem statement for the project.

Objective
- Aim and objective of this project.
-Find the problem statement about the project and get solution from the problem stamen.

Content/Procedure
- Aim and objective.
-Problem statement.
-Benefit and contributions.

Result/Analysis
the result analysis get from week 5.
The aim for this project is to develop a prototype that can detect movement of eyelid which is able to be a good indicator of driver fatigue. Beside that it can give warning to the drivers by activating a buzzer.

·         The Objective of this project is to develop a system to keep the vehicle secure.
·         To reduce road accidents.
·         To make drivers more cautious when driving on the road.
·         To increase awareness that the importance of life while driving.
·         To make and understanding comprehend the architecture of PIC Micro controller 16F877.
·         To understand write assembly language program using instruction set and  Use facilities available in PIC Micro Controller family.
For the problem statement for this project
Many of these accidents are related to work for example, drivers of Lorries, goods vehicles, and company cars. Time of day (circadian) events is profound, with sleepiness being particularly evident during night shift work, and driving home afterwards. And the factors are as important in determining driver sleepiness as is the duration of the drive, but only duration of the drive is built into legislation protecting professional drivers.
From the problem stamen given, the only safe and thinking that the device will alert them when the situation becomes particularly dangerous is a name "Eye blink Detector". Many vehicle and other manufacturers are attempting to develop monitors of driver sleepiness in the vehicle, to alert the driver and can to reduce road accidents.
Some example picture accidents.

Week 4

Week 4

Title of Activity

-Do some research about abstract and introduction  the project.

Objective

- To do a brief explanation about the project.
-To do the introduction about the project.

Content/Procedure

-explanation abstract about
Eye Blink Sensor and Accident Prevention.
-explanation introduction about the
Eye Blink Sensor and Accident Prevention

Result/Analysis

the result analysis get from week 4

This blog is about research into the attitudes of an accident arising from the negligence of ourselves, especially driving in a tired and sleepy. Statistics in 2011 showed the number of road accidents was 397.330 cases. Index rate of deaths per 10,000 registered vehicles was 3.55 per cent in the year 2011. At the international level, Malaysia was ranked 46 out of 172 countries in terms of index of deaths per 10,000 registered vehicles. It was found that 62.6 percent of the main causes of accidents related to sleepiness and 8.5 percent is associated with the traffic light violations. Of the total 397.330 cases, 6.745 cases involving the death of an average 18 deaths a day.
In this blog how provide means of accident prevention using eye blink technology and with the invention of this project is one factor which can reduce accidents occur frequently. This project involves measure and controls the eye blink using IR sensor. The IR transmitter is used to transmit the infrared rays in our eye. The IR receiver is used to receive the reflected infrared rays of eye. If the eye is closed means the output of IR receiver is high otherwise the IR receiver output is low. This to know the eye is closing or opening position.  This output is given to logic circuit to indicate the alarm. This project involves controlling accident due to unconscious through Eye blink. Here one eye blink sensor is fixed in vehicle where if anybody loses conscious and indicate through alarm.

Conclusions

student know use of on-line publication databases is prevalent, writing a really good abstract has become even more important than it was a decade ago and abstracts have always served the function of "selling" your work.
